During 2nd to 7th of November 2014, 5 Romanian experts made a work visit in Norway in order gain more information regarding Home Start concept. Implementing this program in Romanian rural areas represents one objective of project “I, an Oltenia-Based Peasant, Need an Education!”
Throughout the visit, Romanian experts had the chance to discuss with experts in implementing Home Start concept, program’s volunteers but also representatives of Norwegian partners Adina Stiftelsen and Stiftelsen Kirkens Bymisjon from Bergen.
Romanian experts could interact and discuss with programme’s beneficiaries during the activities organized by Stiftelsen Kirkens Bymisjon.
The Norwegian partner Stiftelsen Kirkens Bymisjon organized for the Romanian team a introductory course regarding parents counselling and presented two new concepts COS/Circle of Security and ICDP/International Child Development Program.
Through these meetings Romanian experts gained new knowledge and practical ideas that can be applied in the Romanian environment.
At the end of the visit experts from both countries made a rapport with general impressions, recommendations and elements that can be taken, adapted and altered to the Romanian local context.
